“Delightful bus trip to Perth. Wandered round university. Shopped in Perth. Back by bus – different route”
From Jean’s rough jottings (journal) on P & O Himalaya Letterhead
“By Thursday morning we were in Freemantle, farewelling many friends. We toured by bus en-route to Perth, spent an hour for lunch there and then back a different route. A lovely city. we sailed in the afternoon, and in the pleasant evening light tea, watched our last glimpse of Australia fall away below the horizon”
